Breeding Center Introduces 23 Adorable Baby Pandas To The World

What’s cuter than a Panda Bear? Right – a baby Panda Bear.

And what’s cuter than a baby Panda Bear? Right again – two dozen baby Panda Bears.

In an event that should find it’s way into the Guinness Book of World Records as cutest event ever, a Panda breeding center in China recently put 23 baby Pandas on display for the media, which responded with a collective, “Awwwwwwwwww,” as did their readers and viewers.

The adorable creatures ranged in age from 1 to 4 months and represent the results of a very successful year for the center, which saw double the average number of Panda births. That bumper crop of babies is representative of recent good news for Pandas, which live exclusively in the mountains of Western China. The species was recently downgraded from “endangered” to “vulnerable” in the wake of a 17% increase in the wild population of the black-and-white beauties from 2004 to 2014. That promising turnaround is the result of several actions by the Chinese, including reforestation efforts and banning of Panda skin sales.

So, enjoy this video knowing that, yes, when we put our minds to it, we humans are capable of undoing our mistakes and sharing this gorgeous planet with other magnificent creatures. And we’re better for that.
