Bruno Mars actually made his debut as a 6-year-old Elvis impersonator in this classic flick

Before 31-year-old “Locked Out of Heaven,” singer Bruno Mars was a Grammy Award winner and seven-time nominee, he was just a six-year-old Elvis impersonator.

Remember the comedy from the 90s called Honeymoon in Vegas? This now classic flick stars Nicolas Cage, James Caan, and Sarah Jessica Parker. During the movie, there’s a scene where Betsy (Sarah Jessica) meets Tommy (James Caan) in a hotel restaurant for dinner and drinks. On stage, there’s a little boy impersonating Elvis Presley.

While the camera offers only a quick close-up of the mini-Elvis, you can tell right away that it’s a six-year-old Bruno Mars.

These days Bruno Mars is a massive superstar who continues to wow us with his talent and versatility. His performances have put him on the stage with music icons like Rihanna, Sting, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He’s done an epic Carpool Karaoke session. He owned the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway. He dances like nobody’s watching. Always.

While he’s definitely grown up since crooning “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” little has changed in terms of the star’s entertainment quality.

He may be slightly taller, but Mars’ baby face hasn’t aged a day. Take a peak at the video below to see Mars’ hip thrusts and hairstyle – apparently, he’s been perfecting his moves and signature coif since he was just a little boy.
