Jack Daniel’s just announced its own line of coffee products

Has your morning dose of caffeine become mundane? How about adding a new flavor to your coffee mug? Whiskey.

That’s the idea behind the new Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey Coffee. The 100% Arabica coffee is infused with the distiller’s Old Number 7 whiskey.

This gives the medium roast java hints of Jack Daniel’s flavor, including notes of caramel and vanilla, according to World of Coffee, JD’s coffee-roasting partner in this venture.

No, Jack Daniel’s coffee doesn’t contain alcohol. If you’re looking for that particular caffeine/booze buzz, you still need to mix your own Irish Coffees.

Jack’s brew is available in both regular and decaf and comes in 8.8oz tins and 1.5oz  bags that run about $7. It’s currently available only at the company’s Lynchburg Hardware and General Store in Lynchburg, Tennessee. You can also order it from Jack’s online store. A nationwide roll out is expected sometime in the near future.

JD is actually jumping on an established trend. Other brands have recently debuted coffees infused with Merlot, rum, bourbon, and tequila. There’s even a cold brew coffee flavored with malt liquor.

So, now you can pick your poison to start your day.
