The recent leaked emails from the Democratic National Committee exposed by the controversial organization WikiLeaks may show evidence that DNC officials allegedly planned anti-Donald Trump protests according to The Daily Caller.
A staffer for the DNC alerted Eric Walker, the deputy communications director for the DNC, about a Facebook page for an anti-Trump protest on May 2. That same day, protesters blocked roads in San Francisco leading to an event Donald Trump was hosting.
In another email from late April, Pablo Manriquez, the DNC media booker, commented in reference to the protest, “This should be fun.”
Emails made mention of intern involvement with the protests twice. In one email, the communications director, Luis Miranda seems to bemoan photos of an empty anti-Trump protest in DC according to The Daily Caller. Miranda says, “Going forward, when our allies screw up and don’t deliver bodies in time, we either send all our interns out there or we stay away from it… We don’t want to own a bad picture.”
