Trump jumps ahead of Clinton in a new National poll

Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump has had a recent surge in numbers after the Republican National Convention. This puts him ahead of opponent Hillary Clinton.

When considered head to head, Trump leads 48 percent to Clinton’s 45 percent. The gap between Trump and Clinton grows larger when considered the two other candidates, Gary Johnson (Libertarian Party) and Jill Stein (Green Party).

Trump’s overall numbers are up including his “favorability rating.” Trump spoke about the recent bump in numbers via his Twitter, “Great POLL numbers are coming out all over. People don’t want another four years of Obama, and Crooked Hillary would be even worse.”
