Capital Investment Advisors’ Wes Moss and Matt Reiner Recognized Among the 100 Most Influential Financial Advisors by Investopedia

ATLANTA – June 29, 2021 – Today, Capital Investment Advisors is proud to announce that partners Wes Moss and Matt Reiner have been named among the recipients of Investopedia’s fifth annual Investopedia 100 List of the Most Influential Financial Advisors honor. The Investopedia 100 celebrates financial advisors who are making significant contributions to critical conversations about financial literacy, investing strategies, life-stage planning and wealth management. With more than 100,000 independent financial advisors in the U.S., the Investopedia 100 spotlights the country’s most engaged, influential, and educational advisors.

Investopedia’s methodology focuses on awarding financial advisors who have demonstrated a top-of-the-industry ability to reach the largest and most diverse financial and investing audience. That reach is measured by the impact and quality of the advisor’s published work, public appearances, online following, and commitment to financial literacy across diverse communities. Peer-to-peer nominations are also used to determine the advisor’s influence and reach.

“2021 has taught us that we need financial literacy and guidance more than ever before. The global pandemic has dislocated the capital markets from the economy in unprecedented ways, and millions of people have had their financial lives disrupted,” said Investopedia Editor-in-Chief, Caleb Silver. “This year’s Investopedia 100 have stepped up to that challenge, and the awardees represent advisors from all communities and backgrounds committed to spreading financial literacy and education.”

“Through almost two decades of radio, research, and writing, I’ve been committed to helping as many people as possible retire both sooner and happier. I appreciate Investopedia for recognizing my work and the considerable dedication of my colleagues to helping educate others,” said Wes Moss.

Matt Reiner echoed Moss’ sentiment. “I find endless satisfaction in helping fellow advisors grow and learn, and I appreciate being listed among so many industry leaders that I admire. I am dedicated to helping this industry continue to evolve, and I hope my work will inspire young advisors to embrace education and outreach as part of their career paths,” said Reiner.
