As we approach midlife, a lot of us may find ourselves taking care of our aging parents, children or both. How do we not go broke taking care of other people in our lives? Why is that? Richard Eisenberg shares a little bit about his personal experience as a caregiver and shares some best practices to providing care while also protecting our financial future and planning for a happy retirement.

Richard Eisenberg is an author and Managing Editor for Next Avenue – a PBS site. You can find Richard on Twitter at https://twitter.com/richeis315.
